Healthy Self Esteem Requires Small Persistent ActionHow to Build Self Esteem in KidsBuilding healthy self-esteem in childhood is key.
You probably already know this. What gets tricky is when we want to ensure that a child's self-esteem is in tack today AND for the rest of her life. That's simply too large of a request. Here's why.
Be take heart. There is a simple solution to the lifelong challenge of building and maintaining positive self-esteem in kids. Small Persistent Action. Yep.... that's it. I like to call it SPA. SPA might be small and simple, but it is also very powerful and life-changing. FACT! People who take small persistent action, with consistency, make progress. People who do NOT take small
persistent action tend to flounder.
Let me give you a more tangible example. I'm an author and therefore have many discussion with folks about writing books. FREE ebook of Kids Journal
Starters. There are many, many people I meet who tell me that they either (A) want to write a book or (B) have been writing a book, usually for countless years. Now, these folks are waiting, dreaming and wishing their way to a book. And what do they get? No book! Consider the author, on the other hand, who takes SPA and, oh, let's say writes a single page everyday for a year. Even if she misses 52 days (that's one day off per week, right?) that is still 313 pages. IT'S A COMPLETE BOOK! Do you see how SPA does pay off, because YOU get RESULTS! Try applying SPA to building self-esteem in your child. I like to say, "Take SPA today with your kid!" Sounds fun, doesn't it? Try it. YOU will get results with SPA IF you are consistent. Remember Small Persistent Action over time pays off big time. Get started today and begin forming the healthy habit of building self-esteem one small step at a time, day-by-lovely-day! Here's to improved self-esteem in your child... Jill Schoenberg
