Journal Writing: Three Hot Tips to Elevate
Your Journaling
I'd
like to invite to elevate your journal writing to a wildly enjoyable adventure
full of
discovery and expression!
Below are 3 hot journaling tips to
get you started on your journaling adventure today!
Hot
Journaling Tip #1
Expand your definition of journaling to include the written word and
creative expressions such as drawings, crafting, or cutting
and pasting of your favorite items from a magazine.
Hot Journaling Tip #2
Sit and look around.
Notice the smallest to the largest details that surround you, and
from your observations create a list
of journal writing
topics.
For example, right now I could add to my
journaling writing topic list these items:
A sunset, a
blank notepad, a vase of flowers, a power thought for today, an empty
glass, the word creativity, a robin, a lighthouse, an angel and a fire
pit.
Pick one of your
topics and use that as your journal writing prompt for that day!
ADDED BONUS: Keep a running list of your
journaling ideas and soon
you'll have an extensive list of great journaling
topics created by YOU!
Hot
Journaling Tip #3!
Forget all the rules of journaling. Release the purpose or
outcome of journaling. Disregard all the benefits of journaling.
Simply journal for the joy of journaling! Try it and you just
might be deliciously surprised by what you experience and discover.
I can tell you from personal experience that my
journaling experiences are fantastic now that I have expanded my definition
of journal keeping! I hope it does the same for you,
too.
Happy journal keeping...
