Hello, hello, hello!!
In 2013, I switched the focus of Journal Buddies from printed journals to journal and writing prompts. Since then, I reached an exciting milestone of offering over 20,000 free writing ideas for kids, students, teachers, homeschoolers, and writers in general.
I reached my goal of 20,000+ free writing prompts!
Below are the author’s statement and biography from my journal publishing days. I love this information and decided to leave it for historical purposes. Take a read if you like. If not, that’s ok, too.
Enjoy, and remember to keep on writing! 😀
Jill Schoenberg’s Author Statement about Journal Buddies
The idea for Journal Buddies first came to me through a brief moment of inspiration in February of 2005. The journey from that first moment of inspiration to holding an actual printed and bound book in my hands has been challenging and enjoyable, exhilarating and exhausting, and I would do it all over again if I were asked!
I have long desired to make a difference in the lives of others, especially kids, and that desire is the very essence of this project. Journal Buddies is intended to shed light on the magnificent and excellent Spirit that dwells within us all and to help facilitate a fun and enjoyable process of self-discovery.
With the help of some wonderful and supportive buddies, I hope this book inspires girls and boys of all ages–even grown-up ones to focus on the many magnificent and excellent qualities, traits, and talents we all possess and sometimes forget to discover, share and celebrate.
